Irene Miller | Artistic
Director, Acting
Instructor and Co-founder of CSDC, Irene has been involved in the
theatrical productions since 1970. She has a degree in Theater and
Communications Arts from the University of Iowa. Irene loves to help the
extremely shy and first time actor become comfortable on stage and to
help all actors realize their full potential through stage direction and
characterization. She also mentors more experienced acting
students as they make their way to college and/or towards their dream of
becoming professional actors.

Technical
Director and instructor, Marla, has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil
Engineering from Texas A&M University. She co-founded CSDC with
Irene
Miller in 2002. Her expertise can be seen in our makeup design and
application, costume design and construction, and sound design.

Marla Ripps

| Linda
has done freelance work for the last ten years - illustrated for
Builder's Square, produced pottery for Raegen's Room Productions,
painted murals for Aerial Athletics, and her favorite, a limited number
series for the San Antonio Spurs. Since her children have become school
age, she started focusing more on
teaching opportunities. She has been teaching private classes for the
last seven years, and works from time to time in the art department at St Mary's Hall. Linda has earned an Associates
Degree in Advertising Art, Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from University
of Texas at San Antonio and has her teaching certification. She teaches our Scenic Painting for the Stage classes.
