Winter Wonderland!

On Tuesday, December 6th, some CSDC students and families participated in a Winter Wonderland event in a local neighborhood! Some of us dressed in Christmas/winter themed costumes while others dressed in Dickens-inspired outfits and sang Christmas Carols throughout the evening.

The carolers attended rehearsals to practice their songs, and ended up sounding great! The costume characters included (in alphabetical order) the Grinch, a nutcracker, a snow princess and a sugar plum fairy. Each of the characters performed different tasks such as handing out candy, posing for photos, and helping children with games and crafts.

Despite the cold weather, it was a night full of fun! So many people took pictures with the characters and carolers. A lot of individuals were interested in learning more about the theater, and it was amazing to see the joy we were bringing to the people around us!

We are so grateful for Jenna Thompson who guided both the carolers and the costumed characters in this event! It really got us in the Christmas spirit, and we’re looking forward to CSDC’s Christmas party on Monday! The holiday season is even better when you’re celebrating with the theater!
